Last year I wanted to make an advent calendar like the one my mom had up every year when I was growing up. But I didn't finish it until February. Since this is the first year I've used it, I decided to do a post about it.
I wonder when I'll make a project that has nothing that "I'd do differently" about.
But over all I am pleased with the calendar and am glad I made it. Pigg#1 is so excited to put up one ornament each day and we hung it up high so Pigg#2 can't mess with it too much. Maybe this will help Pigg#1 start figuring out what numbers look like...most of the time he calls them letters.
Perhaps someday I'll make new, cuter, more polished ornaments. But until then...Happy First Day of December!
I think it looks great! Maybe some day I'll make one... but then again I'm having a hard time getting myself to finish Max's stocking -and it'll be his third Christmas! Granted he was a newborn during his first, but still.. it's taken me much longer to finish than it should have. I guess I just don't have the motivation to do it.
