Remember this outfit I made for a baby shower gift? And the last picture in the post?
I also made a double sided flannel blanket to go with it. The green in the blanket matched the skirt perfectly.
The colors remind me of watermelon. I would have bought more of both these fabrics, but one was a remnant bin find and one was the end of the bolt. Sweet that they matched so well.
I folded the back over the front and top stitched, making mitered corners.
So the back has the stitching line edging it.
It looked so cute and is a nice change from pastels (even though I like those too.)
