Black Apple Dolls

I saw the pattern for these on Martha Stewart's website before Christmas and fell in love the the Japanese hair.  So I made some for Pigg#2.  They're not her favorite dolls, but they do in a pinch.
 They are pretty simple to make, but the arms and leggs were much longer than I liked and the pattern did not have a seam allowance (but didn't note it.) They were the longest part of the dolls.
I still love the head of the dolls, but I'm not fond of the bodies.  It's the hair.  I love the hair.

    What cute dolls! I made one but didn't follow the pattern for the arms and legs because I wanted to make a little boy doll dressed in pants and a shirt.
