Sweater to Pillow Cover

Back in high school I had a bunch of sweaters I liked to wear.  But now it takes too much effort to hand wash and layering under them bothers me.  My life as a mother makes them uncomfortable.  So I'm slowly turning them into other things.  First up, a pillow cover.

 I love the feel of this sweater and how the fabric looks.  I just want to grab it an run my hand over it because it looks delicious.

 I chopped off the arms, sewed the bottom shut and sewed the shoulder seam a bit more.

Then I stuff my pillow form in through the small v-neck (good thing it is sooo stretchy) and tucked the little collar in the neck to cover the rest of the pillow.  Done.
