Quilted Cards

Some women in my neighborhood decided to form a card group.  Each person makes 10 identical cards (one for each person in the group) and then we get together and exchange cards so we walk away with 10 different cards.  Now I'm not much of a paper crafter.  I switched to digital scrapbooking soon after Pigg#1 was born because I mess up too often in actual paper.  But I thought of this idea I saw a while back and thought it would be able to fly for at least one month.  It almost feels like cheating because I still sewed.  I just love my sewing machine...a lot.

I found a card pack at Target that had lots of envelopes in the same color scheme as some scrap fabric I have around my house.
So I bought it and made my own cards out of white cardstock since the cards in the pack were a single sheet.  Like a post card.

Now I got to see if I can come up with anything else so i can stay in the group.  The cards were so cute and I'm always thinking about a card to go with my present at the last second.  Never in time to do more than markers on cardstock.  This may help me be a bit more... I don't know, prepared?
